Review: Vita Sciences Maxasorb B12 Vitamin B12 Cream

Hello lovelies!
It's been a while since I did a review that wasn't a book review and I've been meaning to get back into them for a while now. So today's the day I bring you a review on the Vita Sciences Maxasorb B12 Vitamin B12 Cream.

I have a weak immune system so I have to take a lot of vitamins, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Iron, Alpha Lipoic Acid, and B12 are just a few I take on daily basis. So when I got the opportunity to try this B12 Cream I jumped at it!

At first I was skeptical, I didn't think it was going to do anything for me because I inherited my low B12 levels from my mom. However, once I received the product I knew immediately that this was going to be something that I'm going to be repurchasing for years to come!

As I mentioned my mom also suffers from low B12 levels, she's been taking shots and pills for over 10 years with no results. So after I tried this for two days, I made her try it too! She LOVES it, she even took pictures of the bottle and told her boss and coworkers about it

You can apply this cream anywhere, but I decided to use it on my hands like a lotion because I have eczema and I wanted to see if it really would help with that like the company claims. I haven't noticed a huge difference, but my skin is definitely softer in those areas, so I can't wait to see what happens as I continue to use it.

I really like that this product is hypo-allergenic and it doesn't have a strong scent. I have super sensitive skin and it gets irritated easily so I try to stay away from fragrance. Another plus is that it's anti-aging!

Overall, my experience with the Vita Sciences Maxasorb B12 Vitmain B12 Cream was great! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who suffers from low B12 levels, in fact I think I'm going to take the bottle with me to show my doctor at my next appointment.

I love that I can get my B12 now without pills, shots, or drops! Two pumps and I'm good to go for the day!

So what do you think about vitamin creams? Will you be giving this a try?
Let me know below!

What did I think? 5 STARS!!!

Like: Chemistry between the characters,
Dislike: NOTHING!

Would I recommend it?
Yes, I would definitely recommend you check out this book. I've read a few books by Carla Cassidy before and she never disappoints!

My favorite part of this book was the ending! Carla Cassidy definitely knows how to write a cliffhanger, and I have no doubt that the next book will be just as great if not better than this one!

Overall I really loved this book and I can't wait for this summer to read the next book in the series! I think this was a great start to Carla's new series, the setting, characters, and plot were all a perfect mixture of romance and suspense!

April Playlist

Hello lovelies!
I hope you all had a great weekend, I spent the weekend catching up on some much needed sleep!

Today I have for you my monthly playlist, normally I would make a picture for this, but I don't think this months playlist is worthy of it. Honestly I'm in a music slump at the moment, all of my favorite musicians are due to release new albums this year so I'm stuck with old music.

I don't mind listening to old music, I just wish I had some new music to listen  to. If you have any recommendations on any new artists that you think I should check out please let me know in the comments.

Anyway, here's this months playlist!

Nelly Furtado - Try
Taylor Swift - Untouchable
Demi Lovato - Believe In Me
Big & Rich - Lost In This Moment
Will Chase - If I Drink This Beer
Ellie Goulding - Beating Heart
Ellie Goulding - Love Me Like You Do
Lonestar - Amazed

My favorite song of the month was probably If I Drink this beer, I first heard the song last month on Nashville and I fell in love!

What have you been listening to this month? Let me know below and don't forget to leave your music recommendations!

I'm 18, Now What? College? Gap Year?

Hello lovelies!
As some of you may know my 18th birthday was on March 13th and since then I've been thinking a lot. I'm an adult now, but I don't feel any different.

I've been thinking over the past few weeks about what I want to do with my life, and honestly I have no freaking idea what I want to do!

Do I want to go to college this year? Or Should I take a gap year?

The problem isn't that I don't want to go to college, I do, but I don't want to settle and go somewhere that I'm not going to be happy at.  I only applied to four colleges, and I'm only seriously considering two of them, one I've been accepted to, and one I'm still waiting to hear back from.

Here's what really got me thinking, I got my financial aid package for the college I've been accepted to a few weeks ago and it looks like for freshman year alone I'm going to have to take out a $15,000 loan just to attend. Next year will be worse because my mom just re-married. I don't want to be in debt for the rest of my life, and if I attend that college by the time I graduate I'll be over $50,000 in debt. I don't like that and since I'm thinking about going to Graduate school or Medical school after getting my bachelor's it makes the decision harder.

So what's the plan?

I'm thinking about taking a gap semester or gap year to get my finances in check and once I do I'm going to move to Nashville, Tennessee. Once I get there I'll spend a few months working and then enroll in college. If I get rejected from Belmont University, then I plan on applying to Nashville State Community College, it'll be cheaper and then later on I can transfer to a bigger school.

My other option is staying in my hometown for a year or two, attend the local community college, save some money, and then transfer out of state. However, I really don't want to do that, I want to be in Nashville, I've known for years that that's where I want to be and I want to make that happen.

Gif Credit
Honestly I don't know what's going to happen right now, I can't predict the future and there's nothing more I can do to convince Belmont to accept me. I just have to wait and see what happens. I have to let go and let God, it truly is up to Him at this point.

So my questions is, I'm 18, now what?

Lori

Yes, I would definitely recommend this book. I finished this book in two hours because I couldn't put it down.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'm a huge sucker for the friends to lovers trope. With that said I really did love this book, I loved the characters, they really clicked and were a perfect match for each other.

Overall, I really loved this book, it had a lot of funny moments and it ended with a HEA!

Pinterest Finds

Hello lovelies!
Honestly I haven't been using Pinterest much lately, I go through phases with it where I really love and then there's times where I don't go on it for days. I think my current disinterest has to do with the fact that my internet sucks and I can't spend much time on the website before I lose my connection.

My mom and I are going tomorrow to see if we can find a new internet provider. Hopefully by the end of the month I'll have better internet coverage, but till then I hope you can make do with links to a few pins I've been loving!

I'm still having issues with my internet, but I didn't let it interfere with my blogging schedule this week. I'm really hoping we can find a new internet provider soon, but until then I'm just going to have to focus on managing my time better so that I can stay on schedule and keep my blog running.

Book Review: Cara Colter - The Pregnancy Secret

Today I will be reviewing 'The Pregnancy Secret' by Cara Colter, copy received from Netgalley via Harlequin in exchange for an honest review.

'The Pregnancy Secret' is a romance novel, it is 256 pages long and it took me about three hours to read. It is available at Amazon (Kindle) for $3.49, and at Barnes & Noble ( NOOKBook) for $3.49.

About The Book

Genre: Romance

Length: 256 Pages

Publisher: Harlequin

Release Date: May 5, 2015

Book Synopsis
Back in her husbands arms!

Jessica Brennan couldn't wait to marry gorgeous Kade and fill their rickety house with children. Not being able to live that dream tore them apart.

CEO Kade may not have been able to fix their marriage, but he can finally fix up the house. Except working together only rekindles their love. One night with her husband can't hurt, can it? Unless it has dramatic, life-changing consequences!

What did I think? 3 Stars

Would I recommend it?
I would recommend this book to someone who wanted a quick, easy read. Honestly this book didn't live up to my expectations, there were parts I really liked, and then there were parts that I didn't.

I think what made it fall short of my expectations was that I felt really disconnected with the characters. When I read a book I like to feel what the character is feeling and I didn't get that with this book.

Overall, it was a good book, it just didn't live up to my expectations.

Thank you Harlequin via Netgalley for providing me with this book in exchange for an honest review!

Skirtin' Into Spring With Charlotte Russe

Hello lovelies!
Recently I've been loving Charlotte Russe! Their dresses and skirts are perfect for spring, and I just couldn't resist showing you some of my faves!

Here's a few I want to add to my closet:
Tribal Print Bodycon Mini Skirt $10.99
The colors in this skirt are so pretty!

Boho Chevron Bodycon Mini Skirt $10.99
I love this chevron print and I think that this is a great transitional piece from winter to spring!

Neon Tribal Bodycon Mini Skirt $10.99
I normally don't like neon colors, but I think the neon and darker colors balance each other out well, and this is definitely a skirt you could wear into summer. If you wanted to, you could pair it with some tights and boots and it would be perfect for fall too! There's endless possibilities with this skirt!

Striped Asymmetrical Mini Skirt $18.99
When I look at this skirt I see Taylor Swift, it just seems like something she would wear! What do you think?

Lace Print Bodycon Mini Skirt $10.99
I think this is another good transitional piece, for early spring days when it's still nippy outside.

Knotted & Striped Asymmetrical Skirt $19.99
I really like this skirt, but I would be nervous to buy it online, let me explain why. In February, I bought a black and white stripe maxi dress at Charlotte Russe and when I got home with it, I realized that it was see through. So if you order this skirt keep that in mind!

Floral Print Double Slit Maxi Skirt $19.99
I normally don't like floral prints, but I love this color combo!

Draped Asymmetrical Skirt $19.99
I love this color, it's perfect for spring!

High- Waisted Knit Maxi Skirt $16.99
I want to add a very simple plain grey or black skirt to my closet.

High-Waisted Bodycon Mini Skirt $9.99
I'm not one to wear white often, because I always manage to get something on it, but I do think that this skirt is very pretty. I just don't know if I can trust myself to wear it out of the house!

What do you think about Charlotte Russe clothes? Let me know below!

April Goals

Hello lovelies!
It's April! I have just under three months of high school left and so much to do, I have 10 classes left to finish, plus I'm still trying to decide what to do about college!

This month I'm hoping to get back on track with school, my health, and this blog! I can already tell that this month is going to be great! How do I know? Because I've already accomplished two things that I've been putting off for three years, and at the moment I feel like I'm on top of the world!

Here's the thing, I realized that I'm the only thing standing between myself and success, I'm 18 now, and it's time I start acting like it. So I did what I had to do, and I completed something that I had been terrified of doing, and I realize now how stupid that fear was. I completed the task in an hour, and I felt so much better afterwards!

So, my advice to y'all for the month of April is to do something you're scared of, or something that you've been putting off! Trust me, once you get it done and over with you're going to feel so much better!

Lose 4 Pounds.
I've started working out more and I really want to see some results this month. Four pounds isn't much, but it's a start.

Workout twice a week.
I've been working out twice a week for a month now, some weeks I do more, some weeks I don't. My plan for this month is to keep doing the 2x weekly workouts and I'm really hoping that I can get a gym member ship this month and then I can do more.

Start & Finish Spanish 2 Part 2.
I finished Part 1 pretty quickly, so I'm expecting to get this one done just as fast.

Start & Finish Vocabulary Studies Part 1 & Part 2.
I wanted to start this class last month, but I couldn't, so I'm starting it now, and it seems like it's going to be a pretty easy class.

Start & Try to Finish Algebra 2 Part 1.
Bleh, I'm not looking forward to this one, but my goal is to do it and get it done as quickly as possible.

Start College Prep US Gov. & Economics Part 1.
I'm pushing it with this one, I probably won't make it to this one this month, but I can try!

Spend More Time On Social Media.
The last two months I've been neglecting my blog and my social media, I didn't do it on purpose, but it happened, and I want to spend more time this month focusing on social media.

Try to get my drivers permit.
I'm actually going this morning to take the written test, so hopefully by the end of the day I'll be driving!

Design A New Blog Header.
It's time for a new blog header, I've been trying to decide on a new header since December, so this month I'm going to finally get it done!

Update About Me Page.
I haven't updated my About Me page in about a year, so it's definitely time to get that done.

Read five books.
I read four books last month, so this month I decided to aim for five!

Open my own bank account.
I have my own debit card and my name is on my moms bank account, but I really want to get my own bank account opened up and start saving some money.

Be employed by the end of the month.
I've put in a few applications already and I'm going to keep putting them until I find something, I really need to start saving some money.

Be Productive.
I have 14 goals this month, I really need to focus on managing my time so that I can make as much progress as I possibly can this month. I have so much to do, but if I manage my time and don't get distracted I can do it!

What are your goals for April? Let me know below!

March Goals Update

Hello lovelies!
Can you believe it's already April? This year is flying by!
Last month was okay, it wasn't the best, but it was better than February.

I wish I could have finished more of my goals, but I didn't, so here are the terrible results of March...

Lose weight.
Finish Spanish 2 Part 1.
Start & try to Finish Spanish 2 Part 2.
Start & finish Vocabulary Studies Part 1.
Start Vocabulary Studies Part 2.
Start & try to Finish Algebra 2 Part 2.
Exercise twice a week.
Read a book every week.
Start writing again.
Blog more.

4 out of 10 goals.

Lose weight.
Sadly I didn't lose any weight last month, but I have been working out more and eating better, so I'm hoping this month I'll start seeing results.

Finish Spanish 2 Part 1.
I'm finished with the class, I just submitted my midterm exam, so hopefully I'll hear back sometimes next week, and then I can get a new class opened up!

Start & try to Finish Spanish 2 Part 2.
I can't start this until my midterm exam is graded, so hopefully next week I'll get started.

Start & finish Vocabulary Studies Part 1.
I didn't get to start this last month, I'm waiting for my Chemistry final to be graded and then this class will be opened up, and I should finish with it really quickly.

Start Vocabulary Studies Part 2.
Didn't get to do, due to the reason above.

Start & try to Finish Algebra 2 Part 2.
This is another case of waiting for other classes to be graded before I can start.

Exercise twice a week.
I've been increasing my workout times, and I'm slowly building my time up. I'm trying to increase my cardio by 5 minutes every week, I would do more, but I'm prone to getting injured and I'm not risking it. On top of cardio, I've been doing squats, working with resistance bands, and 5 pounds hand weights. So I'm getting there slowly but surely, I'm hoping that maybe later this month I can join a gym!

Read a book every week.
I accomplished this, plus one week I read two books! Now, I need to get busy writing reviews!

Start writing again.
I did a little bit of writing, not much, but to me a little is better than nothing.

Blog more.
I ended up blogging 17 time in March, which is the same as February.

Overall, last month wasn't my best. But you know what, you can't dwell on the past, it's April and I've already accomplished a few things I've been putting off for years. This month is going to be the best in 2015 so far, I already know!

How did you do with your goals? Let me know below!

When tensions mount, Ella needs to tell Josiah the truth--but she can't set aside her fears enough to trust him. What did I think? 5 Stars

Like: The ending and the setting.
Dislike: Nothing

Would I recommend it?
Yes, I would definitely recommend this book. It's a clean Christian romance, that kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I took me about two hours to read this book, once I started reading it I couldn't put it down.

I really like that you can tell that the author did her homework and really knew what she was talking about. She took the time to research her setting and her characters occupations and because of that the books events were realistic.

Overall I really did like this book, it was a short and really sweet story with a happy ending for everyone!

Thank you Harlequin via Netgalley for providing me with this book in exchange for an honest review!
