What to Wear: Thanksgiving

Hello lovelies, I cannot believe next Thursday is Thanksgiving! Today, I will be showing you three Thanksgiving outfits, a casual outfit, a formal outfit, and then one completely using pieces from my favorite boutique, KiKi La Rue!

First up is A Casual Thanksgiving!

Confession, I'm in love with Piko tops, if I had the money I'd buy one in every color. I love the Goldenrod color above, but my favorite is the Midnight Blue, it's so beautiful, but it's sold out everywhere, I cannot find it and I need it!

Weekend Wear: Southern Shirt

I love the color of this Southern Shirt, it's one of my favorite colors and I think mixed with the darker colors it adds a pop of color to fall fashion!

Fabulous Flats

Hello lovelies, As the weather cools down I've been desperately searching for a new pair of flats. Sadly this past spring, after three years of daily wear, my favorite pair of flats gave out.

 I still haven't thrown them away, and I've been wearing them recently, but my feet are starting to hate me for it, so I think it's time to retire them, and I will, just not till I find a new pair!

I've been searching high and low, but I just can't seem to find any flats that I like, that I can afford, AND that are actually in my size. I've finally got to the point where I know I'm going to either have to order online or travel two hours to the nearest Nordstrom. I think I'm going to try online first, and if that doesn't work then I'll make the trip to Nashville.

Here are a few flats that I'm loving but can't have, and even thought I can't enjoy some of  them (either because of the price tag or because I've been cursed with giant feet), I hope you can.

Honestly I think I've decided to go with a pair of Tory Burch flats, I haven't decided which pair I'm going to get, but I'll keep you updated on that.

Fall Wishlist: H&M Edition

Hello lovelies, I'm not feeling too well today, I have a horrible migraine, so today's post is going to be short and sweet.

I don't do a lot of shopping, I like to buy a few items that I love, rather than buy a lot of things that I'll never wear. It's been a while since I've  done a lot of shopping and because of that I need a lot!

Most of what I need this year is really basic items, one thing that I plan on buying a lot of is extra long tank tops, I love the look of them and I currently own zero, so that's definitely going to change. I also want to invest in more sweaters and maybe get a new pair of boots.

Of course there's more than just the basics that I want, I've been trying to add more color in to my closet, and more patterns too. To be honest most of the clothes I own are black or white, so I'm trying to change that.

In fact, just yesterday I went shopping and I bought a new cardigan and a new blouse and neither of them are black. I also bought a new pair of leggings and I went into Cato's to look around and I found a winter coat, so that's one less thing I have to buy, yay!

So here are some more things I'm thinking about buying, I really love stripes and I love flowy tops, so that's a big thing in my closet!

I love blue dresses, it doesn't matter what shade of blue, I LOVE blue!

Taylor Dresses Stripe Sweater Dress (Plus Size) $148.00

Something I love more than blue dresses is blue and black striped dresses!

Eliza J Knit Fit & Flare Dress ( Regular and Petite) $98.00

I love wearing sweater dresses during the fall, depending on how cold it is I usually pair it with tights or leggings and of course boots!

FELICITY & COCO Jersey Maxi Dress $88.00

My goal this fall is to buy more maxi dresses, I only have one and it's not really something I could wear in the Fall/Winter, so I definitely need more. I really like this one, but I'm not really sure how I would style it.
