Pins I'm Loving

Hello Lovelies!
It's been a while since I've done a Pinterest related post, so I'm really excited to be sharing this! I have a love hate relationship with Pinterest, I love it, but I hate how much time I waste on it! I've been doing really good here recently and I've been managing my time better, so I don't feel bad about using it anymore.

If you have any tips for dealing with a Pinterest addiction let me know! But for now, here's this month's Pins I'm Loving!
I got a new desk and so now I just gotta get organized!

Chocolate Lava Cakes 25 mins to make, makes 4
I love Domino's lava cakes, but I hate having to pay for them, I really want to find a way to make them, so I'm gonna give this a try.

A Shortcut Guide to the French Quarter
I FINALLY have enought paid time off to take a week and a half vacation from work and I'm trying really hard to decide what I want to do.

Maine is a big contender, I've never been on a real vacation, so I really wanna take trip!

What have you been loving on Pinterest? Do you have any recommendations for a budget friendly vacation?
Let me know below!

Weekly Inspiration

When you're trying to lose weight it's easy to your motivation when you aren't seeing results, but I think the best way to get that motivation back is to focus on how far you've come.

So far I've lost about 8 pounds, but about two months ago I hit a plateau and I've been feeling stuck. In the past I would give up, eat whatever I wanted and quit exercising, but as you get older you learn lessons.

One lesson I've learned is that you have to focus on the progress you've made and use it to motivate you.
So stop dwelling on how much farther you have to go, celebrate how far you've come, set goals, and do the work, in time you will see results, it's just going to take a little bit longer than you want it to!
Hang in there!

Goal: Focus on the progress you've made!

Some Inspirational Words

Hello lovelies, when I was trying to decide what to write today, I thought it would be a nice way to start the day if you could read some motivational and inspiring words.

So I went through my Pinterest boards and found some of my favorite quotes and sayings, so here they are!

This Year!

I wasn't planning this post, but I found these cute pictures on Pinterest so I had to share them. I feel like they represent where I am in my life, and how I feel about the new year.

This year, is my year, I'm going to make it the best I possibly can, and I'm shooting for the stars. I will graduate this year, I will lose weight, I will find a job, AND I will be Happy!

Last year wasn't the best for me, but towards the end of the year my life turned around. I feel like a new person, and I'm starting to get passionate about the things I used to love again.
This year I want to be my year, and it will be my year. I'm going to work hard to achieve everything I've been putting off, and I'm going to have a smile on my face even when it hurts.

A bad habit I'm going to break:
    My internet addiction, it's bad.

A new skill I'm going to learn:
I would love to get a HD camera and actually learn to use it. I also need to learn time management.

A person I hope to be more like:
I wanna be more like, Taylor Swift. I wanna be more like her because of all the charity work she does, and she never blabs about it to the media. Also she gets a lot of hate, but she never responds to it, she ignores it and rises above it.
(FYI 6 boyfriends in 8 years is not a lot, I know some people who have 20 boyfriends/girlfriend in a year!)

A good deed I'm going to do:
I would love to donate to charity this year, whether it be time or money.

A place I'd like to visit:
I'm planning on going back to Nashville to visit colleges and universities, I'm really happy about it too, cause Nashville is one of my favorite places in the world.

A book I'd like to read:
Staying Strong: 365 Days a Year by Demi Lovato. I've read a few pages on the internet, and I feel like this is the perfect book for those days when you need a little inspiration and motivation.

A letter I'm going to write:
Not sure, I'll have to think about this one.

A new food I'd like to try:
Anything on my Pinterest food board.

I'm going to do better at:
    Time management.

That's all for today, let me know below what you think. Is this the year you turn your life around? Are you planning on making this your year?
                                                        Stay Creative,
                                                                          Lori Ann

P.S. I did a Google Image search for both pictures, but I couldn't find who the owner is, all that came up was a bunch of Pinterest boards, and the only links led to other bloggers saying they found it on Pinterest.
