Review: Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear Nail Polish

Today I will be reviewing the Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear Nail Polish in 590 Confetti Cake.
I bought this the first of November during a little mini haul, and I do believe it was $2.50.
I keep telling myself I'm going to stop buying glitter nail polishes, but I can't seem to resist, this is only one of the two I bought at the time. Ugh!!!

When I bought it, I was under the impression that it had a purple tint to it, well it doesn't. I applied it to  one of my bare fingernails first, and I was disappointed, but I got over it.
So after my little test, I decided to apply a black finger nail polish first. I decided to this time that I would use my Revlon Nail Polish in 731 Knockout (Here) .

After that I applied the Sally Hansen nail polish and here's the result....

What Do I Think?

This nail polish  stayed on longer than I expected, I had it on for about 10 days, which I'm sure your can tell because my nails grew out quite a bit during that time.
If you're looking for a glittery nail polish, then I would totally recommend you try this one, I really did like it, even if it is a pain to get off.

Well that's all for today, let me know what you think in the comments. Will you be buying this? Have you tried it already?
                                                        Stay Creative,

Sweater Weather

Hello there lovelies, since the past two weeks have been kinda hectic with the new year and all, I decided to make today's post an easy read.
One of the main reason I love winter so much is because I can wear sweaters, and darker colors, without being judged for it.

Review: Revlon Nail Polish

Today I will be reviewing the Revlon Matte Top Coat in 790. I saw this during my latest trip to Walmart, and I couldn't resist buying it. I've never used a Matte nail polish, so I wasn't really sure what to expect.

I decided to use my Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear in 370 Black Out, which I reviewed last week. It's my favorite nail polish of all time, so I knew it would be perfect to test this on.

Here's a picture from after I painted my nails.....

What Do I Think?

My favorite thing about this nail polish is how fast it dried, I was kinda expecting it to take forever, but it really only took about 5 minutes.
I was surprised to find that I really loved the nail polish, I love the way it looks. It took a while to get used to my nails NOT being shiny.
I had this nail polish on for about a week, it didn't chip to bad on the the ends, but the top is another story. The top of my nails seemed to chip really quickly, and peeled, but I think I'm gonna give it another go, and see if it does it again.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this nail polish, it may not have lasted as long as I'm used to, but I still really love it.l

Well that's all for today, will you be buying this? Have you tried it already? Let me know what you think in the comment section.

Review Black Glitter Nail Polish Part 2

Hello there, so I'm sure you already know today's post is a follow up to yesterday post. Part 2 is the review of the Jordana Glitters Nail Polish in 23 Rhinestones. I've never seen this brand anywhere except K-mart, and it's available for $1.99.
So as you can tell it's a really beautiful glitter nail polish. I'm not sure if you can see but the're are some larger flecks of glitter in there as well, which I really like cause it adds to the look.
Unfortunately I haven't tried it on clean nails so I'm not sure if it has a color to it or not. But I just applied some to a Kleenex and it looks like it has a slight gray color to it. So I think if you applied it on it's own it would still look good just not as flashy, so it would probably be nice for  the office, kinda edgy, but not  inappropriate.
I would also like to warn you that  you might want to wipe the brush off before the first use. As you can see I didn't and so my thumb has much more glitter than my other fingers.

Other than that, I have found nothing wrong with this nail polish. It's lasted for nearly 2 weeks on my nails and has barely chipped at all, which is really rare. Any other glitter polish I've used has chipped and lasted only a few days, so I can definitely say this nail polish is a keeper.

So would I recommend this nail polish?

Yes, yes, yes, a million times yes. Like I said above I've never used a glitter nail polish that hasn't chipped within days. So I'm really excited to try it out with other colors and on it's own. I love the price, and I will definitely be looking to see if they have any other glitter polishes.

Well that's all for today let me know what you think in the comments. Stay Creative my lovelies, I'll post again very very soon.
                                                                                                 xoxo,

Review: Black Glitter Nail Polish Part 1

Today's review will be in 2 parts one posted today and one tomorrow. I was going to do them  both together, but that would be really long.  Part 1 will be the black in the Black Glitter title.
So the black nail polish I decided to use as the base for this look is the Sally Hanson Hard as Nails Extreme Wear in 370 Black Out, and it retails for around $2.50.
I have used this nail polish for about 5 years, and it's my go to black nail polish. And when it says extreme wear it means extreme. The longest I've went with wearing it is 2 weeks and it still looked amazing.
So why do I love this nail polish so much? Well first of all it's long lasting. And secondly because it's part of the Hard as Nails collection.
I've always used the Sally Hansen Hard as nails Nail hardener as a base coat and a top coat, and I am in love with it. So I really like this nail polish because if I didn't want to i wouldn't have to wear a top coat or base coat.
So here's a picture of my nails and as you can see they are a bit chipped, but that's because I've had it on for nearly two weeks. I was actually really surprised by this because usually with glitter I can only get a few days wear out of the polish.
Though I would like to say only the ends are what has really chipped the top part is my doing. Instead of biting my nails I tend to pick at the top half, but not much just what you see in the photo.
The polish tends to dry either quickly or slowly, it depends on how much you apply, I tend to only apply one coat because I don't think a second coat is needed. So when I do my nails they dry rather quickly.

So would I recommend this nail polish?

Totally, it's amazing, and really good quality considering how cheap it is. I will continue to buy and use this product until the day it is discontinued, which I hope never happens, because I'm in love with it.
Well that's all for today let me know what you think in the comments. I know I'm posting this really early,(3AM) but that's due to the fact that I'll be spending most of the day in the hair salon. I'm finally going to get my hair lightened, I can't wait to be back to my natural blonde. Aside from that I'll also be getting a layers, and my eyebrows waxed. So it should be a fun day. Stay Creative my lovelies, I'll post again very very soon.
