What did I think? 5 Stars

Like: The entire series.
Dislike: Nothing!

Would I recommend it?
I have read three of the four books in this series and I have loved all of them. I would definitely recommend this series to anyone looking for a new series to read. I'm starting to think Lynette Eason is my favorite Harlequin author, maybe even just my favorite author.

This book has everything that I love about romantic suspense, murder, kidnapping, attempted murder, trust issues, family, love. I love the ending and I really hope the author writes another book in this series and mentions Amber and Lance.

Overall, I definitely recommend this book and this series, I love these characters and I really hope we get an update on them very soon.

Thank you Harlequin via Netgalley for providing me with this book in exchange for an honest review!

'Their Fitst Family Christmas' is a romacne novel, it is 256 pages long and it took me about three hours to read. It is available at Amazon ( Kindle) $4.99,  Barnes & Noble (NOOKBook).

About The Book

Genre: Medical Romance

Length: 256 Pages

Publisher: Harlequin

Release Date: November 1, 2016

Book Synopsis
Her Christmas past becomes her Christmas present!

When Dr. Emma Matthews was entrusted with the guardianship of her best friend's daughter, she promised that every Christmas would be special...But this Christmas Eve, Jack Reynolds - her old flame and Lily's Uncle - has walked back into their lives.

Both Emma and Jack still bear the scars of this time last year. But now Jack wants to start again - being there for his adorable niece, picking up where he an Emma left off, and giving them all the family Christmas they deserve!

What did I think? 4.5 Stars

Like: The Honesty.
Dislike: Undecided.

Would I recommend it?
I love how open and honest the two main characters were with each other. It seems here lately, with most of the books I've been reading, a lot of the characters problems would be solved if they would just communicate and be honest.

I'm kind of undecided on what I think about the ending, I'm glad there was an epilogue, but I feel like the story before the epilogue was cut short, I feel like it needed a few more pages.

Overall, I really liked this book and I'm interested in reading more from the author!

Thank you Harlequin via Netgalley for providing me with this book in exchange for an honest review!

Book Review: Nancy Warren - Best Man...with Benefits

Hello Lovelies!
Today I will be reviewing 'Best Man...with Benefits' by Nancy Warren, copy received from Netgalley via Harlequin in exchange for an honest review.

'Best Man...with Benefits' is a contemporary romance novel, it is 224 pages long and it took me about 4 hours to read. It is available at Amazon for $4.49 (KINDLE), and Barnes & Noble for $4.49 (NOOKBook).

About The Book

Genre: Romance

Length: 224 Pages

Publisher: Harlequin

Release Date: June 16, 2015

Book Synopsis
May the best man sin...

Lauren Sanger is practically the perfect maid of honor, except for one tiny flaw. She hates the best man. Jackson Monaghan is beyond hot--his body is the stuff of sexy lady dreams--but he's just such a jerk. So when a prank lands them in the same bed, Lauren should have flipped out, instead of having the best sex of her life with the best man!

Jackson can't figure out how two people with anti-chemistry during the day can have such wickedly hot sexual chemistry at night.Worse still, he wants more. Enough to dare Lauren into doing the last thing she should be doing...him. But friends with benefits is one thing...enemies with benefits is quite another

What did I think?

Like: The timing of the story.
Dislike: Secondary characters, Amy and Seth.

Would I recommend it?
Normally I love a good enemies-with-benefits trope, but for some reason I just couldn't connect with this one. I finished the book and I like it, but I wasn't completely sold.
I liked the main characters, but could not deal with the secondary characters. Thankfully, Seth and Amy only had small parts in the book.

One thing I always love about Nancy Warren is her timing, her stories are always pieced together just right. If you're looking for a quick, flirty and sexy easy read then this is the one for you. It didn't work for me, but I would still recommend it to anyone who loves a fast and easy romance.

Thank you Harlequin via Netgalley for providing me with this book in exchange for an honest review!

'Protection Detail' is a romantic suspense novel, it is 288 pages long and it took me about 6 hours to read. It is available at Amazon for $1.99(Kindle), and Barnes & Noble for $1.99(NOOKBook).

About The Book

Genre: Romantic Suspense

Length: 288 Pages

Publisher: Love Inspired Suspense

Release Date: March 3, 2015

Book Synopsis

With his team of elite K-9 cops and his loyal dog, Glory, at his side, Gavin discovers that a child at Cassie Danver's nearby foster home may have witnessed the murder. He's drawn to the determined and beautiful woman, but she doesn't want him interviewing her traumatized charges. Yet trusting Gavin is the only way to stay one step ahead of the deadly gunman when Cassie becomes a target.

Capitol K-9 Unit: These lawmen solve the toughest cases with the help of their brave canine partners.

What did I think?

Like: Almost everything.
Dislike: I hate not knowing who the murderer is. Too many unanswered questions.

Would I recommend it?
I really enjoyed this books, the characters, the plot, the suspense. The romance between Gavin and Cassie was very sweet and actually very believable. There were a few moments where I wanted to roll my eyes, but I still loved the romance between them.

However, because of the ending I'm not too happy with the book, but
at the end of the day I enjoyed the book more than I hated it. I hate that I have to buy five more books just to complete the story, but it is what it is. I'm a book lover and eventually I'll buy them and I'm sure I'll enjoy them too.

Overall, I would recommend it if you have the money to spend on a total of six books. If you don't have the money I would say stay away because this is a very catchy story, I finished it last night and  I need more!

Thank you Love Inspired via Netgalley for providing me with this book in exchange for an honest review!

Yes, I would 100% recommend this book. I loved the first book in this series and I loved this one too.

I think the characters in this book were very realistic and their romance was definitely believeable. I really like that the female lead was a rodeo clown, I've never read a book with a rodeo clown in it before. The ending definitely surprised me, I loved all the action and suspense. The twist at the end was great!

Overall, I loved the book, it was a quick read and I'm really happy that the author chose to add to this series!

Book Review: Remind Me

Today I will be reviewing 'Remind Me' by Ann Marie Walker and Amy K. Rogers, copy received from Netgalley via (InterMix) Penguin Group, in exchange for an honest review.

'Remind Me' is a Contemporary Romance novel, it is 273 pages long and it took me about five hours to read. It is available at Amazon (Kindle), for $4.99, and at Barne & Noble (NOOKBook) for $4.99.

About The Book

Genre: Contemporary Romance

Length: 273 Pages

Publisher: InterMix, Penguin Group

Release Date: April 21, 2015

Book Synopsis

Now that he's got Allie in his sights again, he's determined to make her regret breaking his heart. And this time, he's going to make damn sure he's not so easy to forget.

What did I think? 3 Stars

Like: The ending. Cliffhanger!
Dislike: Too much sex, not enough story.

Would I recommend it?
I think this is one of those books where it comes down to what you like and don't like in books. I can't really give a yes or no answer. The best answer I can give is that you should just read a few reviews to see for yourself if you think it's something you would want to read.

I went into this book thinking I was going to love it and that it would immediately get 5 Stars, but after reading the book I can only give it 3 Stars. I thought this was going to be a sweet second chance love story, instead it was filled with random  explicit sex scenes and not much else.

I don't mind sex scenes or cursing, however I do think it was definitely overdone in this book. Nowhere in the description did it indicate that this book would fit into the erotica category.

I think this book is a lot like Fifty Shades of Grey, but definitely better. However, even though there was a lot I didn't like about this book, I do plan on reading the next book in the series because the ending to this book was very promising. Maybe it will change my mind on the first book, who knows.

Thank you Penguin Group via Netgalley for providing me with this book in exchange for an honest review!

Book Synopsis
Sign: Virgo

Kate's been waiting for her chance to take on a real role at Douglass and prove to her family that she's not the fragile piece of glass they all think she is. There's no way she'll give up without a fight. All she has to do is convine the gorgeous new CEO to hire her...and not fall for him.

But Brody was never supposed to feel attracted to the daughter of his enemy. He was never supposed to want her as hard as he does. And the only thing stronger than his hunger for revenge is his hunger for her...

What did I think? 4 Stars

Would I recommend it?
Yes, I would recommend this book, once I sat down and started reading I didn't want to put it down. I really enjoyed the characters backgrounds and I think that the characters were well developed, however, their romance needed more work.

I do feel like the pace should have been set a little faster, and the chemistry between the two main characters didn't impress me. There weren't many love scenes in the book and I feel like the ones that were included were rushed and not romantic. I like that this Brody's character starts out as a guy set out to get revenge and then he learns what's really important and learns to forgive and let go of the past.

Overall, I really liked the book and would definitely recommend it, if you're looking for a good, quick read. I know my review probably sounds like I didn't like the book, but I really did like it, I just didn't love it, and I think it had the potential to be better.

Thank you Entangled Publishing via Netgalley for providing me with this book in exchange for an honest review!

Hello lovelies!
Top 10 Tuesday is a weekly link-up hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.
This week's theme: Top 10 Books On My TBR For Summer 2015.
I actually have an ARC of this book and I plan on reading after I finish the book I'm reading right now! From the reviews I've read it looks like it's going to be a good one
(P.S. It releases on June 30, so go buy it!)

I REALLY want to read this one, I don't have it yet, but I think I'm going to order it later this week!

Normally I'm not interested in classics, but I really want to read this one.

I put this on my TBR a few months ago and forgot about it until a few days ago when I saw a book review on bloglovin'.

Johanna Lindsey // Stormy Persuasion
I just bought this book and it's sitting on my bookshelf waiting to be read, I LOVE the Malory-Anderson Family series and I'm so excited to read this one!

Suzanne Collins // The Hunger Games
I've watched all the movies and now I really want to read the books. I keep saying I'm going to read them, but books are expensive and I just haven't taken the time to buy them yet.

Katee Robert // The Marriage Contract
I think I'm really going to like this one. I first saw it on Netgalley and requested it as ARC, but they had already filled their quota, but I still want to read it, and so I'm going to order it as soon as I get my new debit card in the mail!

Emma Healey // Elizabeth Is Missing
I've been wanting to read this book for about a year and now that I'm working I can afford to spend a little more on books!

Angelina Jameson // A Lady's Addiction
I used to read historical romance all the time, but here lately I've been leaning towards romantic suspense novels. Recently as I was going through my Bloglovin' feed I noticed a review on this book and it seems like something I would like so I added it to my TBR on GoodReads!

Fred Caldwell // Flying Your Business: Leadership Lessons from the Cockpit
Last week I was on Twitter and I saw someone tweet about this book and it looks like it would be an awesome read.

So that's it for my Summer 2015 TBR list! Tomorrow I have something a little different for you, so don't forget to check back for that!

What did I think? 3 Stars

Would I recommend it?
I would recommend this book to someone who wanted a quick, easy read. Honestly this book didn't live up to my expectations, there were parts I really liked, and then there were parts that I didn't.

I think what made it fall short of my expectations was that I felt really disconnected with the characters. When I read a book I like to feel what the character is feeling and I didn't get that with this book.

Overall, it was a good book, it just didn't live up to my expectations.

Thank you Harlequin via Netgalley for providing me with this book in exchange for an honest review!

Yes, I would definitely recommend this book. It's a clean Christian romance, that kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I took me about two hours to read this book, once I started reading it I couldn't put it down.

I really like that you can tell that the author did her homework and really knew what she was talking about. She took the time to research her setting and her characters occupations and because of that the books events were realistic.

Yes I would definitely recommend this book. I'll be honest it took me a long time to start reading this book, but once I did I couldn't put it down.

Jeff and Tessa's characters were very realistic and their love story didn't seem rushed or fake in any way. I really liked the setting in Washington, and I like that the author gave Tessa a job that isn't a super girly job. The secondary characters were also a great addition to the story and they only added to the story.

Danger At The Border is book number one in the Northern Border Patrol series by Terri Reed, but it can definitely be read as a standalone. I'm actually looking forward to reading the next book, I'm not sure when it will be released, but it shouldn't be much longer considering this book was released in September.

Overall, I really liked this book and I'll definitely be reading more from this author. I really loved how fast paced this book was, it was well written, and I didn't want to put my phone down and go to bed!

They must suppress temptation to focus on finding a cure. But someone else is watching them. Someone else has other plans for the town.

What did I think? 5 Stars

Like: Everything!!!
Dislike: NOTHING!

Would I recommend it?
YES, YES, YES, YES!!!

This book was so much better than I thought it would be, I thought that this was going to be one of the those series that is amazing and leads up to an incredible ending only to lost it's momentum in the last book, but boy was I wrong. So wrong!

I can honestly say that this book is probably the best end of a series book I've ever read, I stayed up till 3:30 in the morning just to finish it, and I have no regrets at all!

The final book in The Coltons: Return to Wyoming miniseries was the best book I've read in months, it was the perfect way to end the series, and I think it was the best one in the entire series! Since all the books in this series were written by different authors, this is the first time I've read any of C.J. Miller's books, but I can definitely say I'll be checking out some of her other books!

What did I think? 4 Stars

Would I recommend it?
Yes, I would recommend this book if you have the time to read the other books in the series, if not, then you should probably pass on it Don't get me wrong, I really did like the book, but I feel like there's something missing, I just didn't enjoy it enough to give it 5 stars.

I think I'll go ahead and give the second book in the series a shot, but I'm not getting my hopes up.Honestly,  I just wanna see what happens in the search for the murderer and the missing heir.

Overall it was a good book, it was something to pass the time when I couldn't sleep. I liked the books plot, but for me to give it a 5 I needed more details and answers.

What did I think? 5 Stars

Like: The epilogue.
Dislike: Nothing.

Would I recommend it?
Yes, I would 100% recommend this book, I loved reading it, and I couldn't put my phone down till I finished reading it!

I really liked the part near the end, we'll call it "the hospital part", I like that author didn't try to make everything all right. What happened is something that happens quite often and it's not something you see in books, so I like that she included that and didn't try to make it out as no big deal.

Overall, I really loved this book, my favorite part was the ending. I'm a huge fan of epilogue's, and the epilogue in this book was a brilliant touch and I'm really glad that the author decided to include it!

What did I think? 4.5 Stars

Like: The adorable ending.
Dislike: Nothing.

Would I recommend it?

Yes, I would definitely recommend this book! This was the first  Weaver book that I've read and I'm sure there are some things that would make more sense if I'd read some of the other Weaver books, however, this book can definitely be read as a standalone novel, and you'll still understand everything with no confusion.

My favorite part of this book was definitely the ending, it was beyond adorable! When I first started reading this book I thought it was going to be a romantic suspense, but it wasn't. And I would have known that if I had actually taken the time to read more of the books description. This was the first I've read since September that wasn't a romantic suspense book, and I actually enjoyed it!

Overall I loved the book and would definitely recommend it! It does have a few love scenes, so if you're not into that you might want to skip it, but otherwise I would definitely recommend it!
