Weekly Inspiration

Hello Lovelies!
"In the end always laugh. And do not lose this strange habit of having faith in life."
-Daniel C.L.

Goal: So it's the end of January and at this point a lot of people are starting to give up on their new year's goals and resolutions, but I don't think you should give up. You need to keep going and don't lose faith, you can do it!

Pins I'm Loving

Hello Lovelies!
So I've been gone for a hot minute again! This time I kinda know what happened, a lot of things added up and I just haven't been able to sit down to write!

For starters, I lost motivation, I'm not really sure what I want to write at the moment. What would you like to see more of? Let me know in the comments, give me some ideas of what you want to see more or less of.

I thought I was going to be able to start blogging last week, but then I started having some health issues again and it's really wiping out all of my energy.

But I'm back today and I'm gonna try my best to get at least one post in a week, along with my two series! So here's what I have found on Pinterest that I'm loving!
These cookies look so good, it's like a brownie and a cookie all together!

I've never been good at taking notes, so I'm hoping that when I start college in the fall I can do better. This article has some good points.

217 Things To Do In 2017
If you're bored, give this a read!

Must-read for everyone!

I've been on a cake kick recently, I've made so many cakes and I really want to try some new recipes. This list gives me so many new ideas!

That's all for today, hopefully I can get another post up this week, along with Friday's Links to Love.

Goal: Let go of the hate in your life. If being around someone is making you have a lot of hate in your life, get rid of them. Spread love, not hate.

January Beauty Wishlist

Hello Lovelies!
I've been trying to come up with some new blog post ideas and I know that I really want to add in some more beauty related posts. So I think I want to start doing a monthly beauty wishlist. I want to share with you some of the new products that I'm loving and lusting over!

So here's what I'm loving this month!
I actually tested the moisturizer last month while I was in Sephora and I can't quit thinking about it! It smelled so GOOD and a little goes a long way, I could smell it on the back of my hand for hours! I like this little set because it has a lip balm and my lips are always chapped no matter what. I'm definitely ordering this next payday if I have enough money!

While we were in Ulta my best friend showed me this and I tested it on the back of my hand and fell in love! It's so soft and I really wanna buy some and see how it does with my foundation! If I don't like it I'll give her the rest. I've only tried a face primer once before, but it was a drugstore primer and it failed to impress.

This is one of those palettes where I thought it was pretty online, but when I saw it in store I fell in love. I have a birthday coming up, so one can dream, and I'm dreaming of this palette!

I love a good neutral palette and the colors in this one are so pretty and it looks like it would be easy to travel with.

I really need to invest in more face products, I don't own any highlight or contour products, but I really want to learn. I feel like the colors in this palette would be perfect for me!

I've actually tried a sample of this mask and I love it. I do think the name is a little misleading though, because if you wanted to you could use this as a normal moisturizer. I even wore this under makeup and loved the way it felt. I definitely want to buy the full size because during the winter my combo/oily skin tends to get dry on my upper cheeks.

The only Too Faced product I've used is their mascara, I haven't tried any off their eye-shadows, but this one is really pretty.

I have a sample of this and I'm in love!

What's on your beauty wishlist? Anything you think I would like? What products do you recommend for contouring beginners?
Let me know below!

Links to Love

Hello Lovelies!
We're six days in to the new year and I'm still going strong on my new year goals! It has actually been a pretty good week. I'm finally starting to feel better after my injection and I've went back to work. It's been a little rough trying to get my strength back and getting back into a routine at work after five days off.

Thursday was better than Wednesday and thankfully I was off yesterday and today, so it gives me a couple extra days to rest.

Here's this week's Links to Love!

That's all for this week, come back tomorrow for some weekly inspiration!
What links are you loving this week?

Book Review: Beth Andrews - About That Night

Hello Lovelies!
Today I will be reviewing 'About That Night' by Beth Andrews, copy received from Netgalley via Harlequin in exchange for an honest review.

'About That Night' is a contemporary novel, it is 384 pages long and it took me about four hours to read. It is available at Amazon (Kindle) $6.49, and Barnes &Noble (NOOKBook) $6.49.

About The Book

Genre: Contemporary Romance

Length: 384 Pages

Publisher: Harlequin Superromance

Release Date: June 2, 2015

Book Synopsis
One night....and a whole lotta trouble!

When it comes to men, Ivy Rutherford never loses her cool. Ever. Then she meets wealthy, green-eyed cowboy, C.J. Bartasavich and desire burns out of control. Yeehaw. So for one night, Ivy will indulge in a passion neither of them will forget...and walk away without a backward glance.

Except now Ivy's pregnant. And even worse, now C.J. has come to her hometown of Shady Grove determined to get to know her and be part of their baby's life -- even if she's convinced their attraction is purely physical. Because Ivy can't let herself rely on a sexy cowboy.... or worse yet, fall in love with one.

What did I think? 5 Stars

Like: The chemistry!
Dislike: Nothing!

Would I recommend it?
Most definitely yes! I really loved this book, I had so much fun reading it. Beth Andrews really knows how to create chemistry between two characters, I laughed, cried, and wanted to scream while reading this book and that doesn't happen often.

This books deals with trust, mistakes, and second chances, I think the sub-plot with Gracie and Luke was a perfect addition and words cannot explain how much I loved reading this book!

So far I haven't read any of the other books in this series, but I definitely plan on it when I get some extra money to spend, I want to read more about this dysfunctional family!

Thank you Harlequin via Netgalley for providing me with this book in exchange for an honest review!

Will you be buying this book? Let me know below!

2017 Goals + Word of the Year

Hello Lovelies!
Let's be honest 2016 was a terrible year, so many shocks and surprises, so many deaths, especially in the last week. I'm glad it's a new year and hopefully things start looking up and getting better! Today I'm going to share with you my word of the year, goals, and some things I want to do this year!

I did really good with my 2016 goals , and I'm hoping that I can accomplish just as much in 2017! Let's get started!
Word of the Year: Recovery
My main goal for the year is recovery. 2016 was a hard year for me health wise, and I really want to spend this year recovering and taking care of my health. Towards the end of 2016 I had so many injuries and complications from procedures and I'm just now starting to heal.

I finished physical therapy for my lower back in November, I just came out of  a boot for my foot last week, and then Friday I had another injection for my back. Thankfully so far I haven't had any complications from this one. The injection I had in July is what started a downhill spiral for me, it's the reason I had to go to physical therapy and during that time I also fell down a flight of stairs. I've also been dealing with neck pain and dizziness from my fall!

I think that pretty much sums up how crappy the last few months have been and why I'm looking forward to a new year! So here's to recovery and here is the rest of my goals!

I hope you all have a wonderful year and may all your dreams come true! I'm gonna stick with my blogging schedule and do my weekly inspiration today, and I'll share my Goals for 2017 tomorrow!
"Whatever you decide to do, make sure it makes you happy."

Going in to the new year I'm choosing to have a new mindset, I'm trying to focus on the good things and not stress over the bad things. It's actually been really peaceful the past few days, I just hope when I go back to work Wednesday, I don't get stressed.

Goal of the week: I'll talk more about it tomorrow, but my word of the year and my main goal is Recovery!

That's all for today, don't forget to check back tomorrow for my Goals for 2017!
