Weight Loss Monday's: Week 5 Start Over

Okay so I decided after last week's high blood pressure incident, that it's time to get back on track. I've been off my diet for about a month now, and I've gained about 15 pounds. Yes 15 pounds, and I'm not happy about it at all.
So my plan of action is to get my gym membership back on Friday and start going back to a real gym. My equipment at home isn't cutting it, I need the extra equipment that I can get in a real gym. I've downloaded some new music and so I'm gonna have some upbeat music to listen to.
I also got a new pair of workout pants because my other pair started to get holes in them, and to go with them is another new pair of tennis shoes. So I can no longer use the excuse I don't have any shoes, because my nana bought me a pair for Christmas and my mom got me a new pair 2 weeks ago.
I will not be buying anymore snacks, no chips, and no sweets. I'm cutting back, less food more exercise.  I'm starting over, I made a lot of progress last year, I want to match the progress I made then (45 Pounds). I will lose this weight and get off any and all unnecessary medications.
This week I will begin a new life, it's a new year and it's time for me to make changes. It's time to get back on my diet, and it's time for me to buckle down and do my schoolwork, if I don't I'll never graduate.
I hope your with me on this, I need the encouragement. I'll try to start tweeting more about stuff related to my blog, so make sure you follow me. And I hope you all know you can e-mail me anytime, my sleep schedule varies so 'll most likely be awake when you do.
Well that's all for this week, Stay Creative my lovelies, I'll post again very very soon. At the end of this post I'm gonna attach my new favorite song, that I'm obsessed with and can't stop playing.

5 Words: Week 8

You already know what's in store for today, you get your 5 words and and update. I also told you that I would let you know what happened at my doctors appointment.
Basically all that happened was my doctor put me on a low dose of medication for high blood pressure. I'm going to try to get an appointment with a heart doctor because I don't feel comfortable taking it, due to the fact that I have Orthostatic Hypotension.
But until then I will take it. The best news she gave me was that what I thought was chest pains, was actually indigestion.
So now you know what's going on with that, let's get to this week's 5 words....

Ardent- Enthusiastic or passionate.
Sipe- (Of liquid) to drip, ooze, or soak through.
Quell-

Review Black Glitter Nail Polish Part 2

Hello there, so I'm sure you already know today's post is a follow up to yesterday post. Part 2 is the review of the Jordana Glitters Nail Polish in 23 Rhinestones. I've never seen this brand anywhere except K-mart, and it's available for $1.99.
So as you can tell it's a really beautiful glitter nail polish. I'm not sure if you can see but the're are some larger flecks of glitter in there as well, which I really like cause it adds to the look.
Unfortunately I haven't tried it on clean nails so I'm not sure if it has a color to it or not. But I just applied some to a Kleenex and it looks like it has a slight gray color to it. So I think if you applied it on it's own it would still look good just not as flashy, so it would probably be nice for  the office, kinda edgy, but not  inappropriate.
I would also like to warn you that  you might want to wipe the brush off before the first use. As you can see I didn't and so my thumb has much more glitter than my other fingers.

Other than that, I have found nothing wrong with this nail polish. It's lasted for nearly 2 weeks on my nails and has barely chipped at all, which is really rare. Any other glitter polish I've used has chipped and lasted only a few days, so I can definitely say this nail polish is a keeper.

So would I recommend this nail polish?

Yes, yes, yes, a million times yes. Like I said above I've never used a glitter nail polish that hasn't chipped within days. So I'm really excited to try it out with other colors and on it's own. I love the price, and I will definitely be looking to see if they have any other glitter polishes.

Well that's all for today let me know what you think in the comments. Stay Creative my lovelies, I'll post again very very soon.
                                                                                                 xoxo,

Review: Black Glitter Nail Polish Part 1

Today's review will be in 2 parts one posted today and one tomorrow. I was going to do them  both together, but that would be really long.  Part 1 will be the black in the Black Glitter title.
So the black nail polish I decided to use as the base for this look is the Sally Hanson Hard as Nails Extreme Wear in 370 Black Out, and it retails for around $2.50.
I have used this nail polish for about 5 years, and it's my go to black nail polish. And when it says extreme wear it means extreme. The longest I've went with wearing it is 2 weeks and it still looked amazing.
So why do I love this nail polish so much? Well first of all it's long lasting. And secondly because it's part of the Hard as Nails collection.
I've always used the Sally Hansen Hard as nails Nail hardener as a base coat and a top coat, and I am in love with it. So I really like this nail polish because if I didn't want to i wouldn't have to wear a top coat or base coat.
So here's a picture of my nails and as you can see they are a bit chipped, but that's because I've had it on for nearly two weeks. I was actually really surprised by this because usually with glitter I can only get a few days wear out of the polish.
Though I would like to say only the ends are what has really chipped the top part is my doing. Instead of biting my nails I tend to pick at the top half, but not much just what you see in the photo.
The polish tends to dry either quickly or slowly, it depends on how much you apply, I tend to only apply one coat because I don't think a second coat is needed. So when I do my nails they dry rather quickly.

So would I recommend this nail polish?

Totally, it's amazing, and really good quality considering how cheap it is. I will continue to buy and use this product until the day it is discontinued, which I hope never happens, because I'm in love with it.
Well that's all for today let me know what you think in the comments. I know I'm posting this really early,(3AM) but that's due to the fact that I'll be spending most of the day in the hair salon. I'm finally going to get my hair lightened, I can't wait to be back to my natural blonde. Aside from that I'll also be getting a layers, and my eyebrows waxed. So it should be a fun day. Stay Creative my lovelies, I'll post again very very soon.
                                                                                                 xoxo,

5 Words: Week 6

Well it's that time of week again, time for 5 Words, and another excuse for not posting. Ugh, I don't know what's going on. Here we go...
Simple explanation being Wednesday my mom got her income taxes and we went shopping and didn't get home till 8pm, and then yesterday was the same. But Yesterday we also had to take my cousin to the doctor, and I had to help my mom hold her down so they could get a chest X-Ray.
So if it hadn't been for that I may have been able to post, but we spent 3 hours at the doctors office and so I didn't get to.
However the good thing that comes out of this is the fact that I got some new things to try out and review. I also finally got my iPhone 4 ahhh, I've missed having an iPhone so much. So now that I have that I'll be able to post photos more often with my posts.
Anyway here's today's post, I hope you like it....

Permalink- Is a URL that that points to a specific blog or forum entry after it has passed from the front page to the archives.
Bleat-  (Of a sheep, goat, or calf) Make a characteristic wavering cry: the lamb was bleating weakly".

Chummy- (Used informally) Associated on close terms.
Profligate-  A profligate person; a wastrel.

So that's all for this week be sure to tune in next week, I promise there will be more than 2 posts next week. And I swear I did already have Yesterday's post started there just wan't enough time to finish and publish it. I'm sorry,  know you're all probably getting sick of my excuses, but I'm trying.
Stay Creative my lovelies, I'll post again very soon.
                                                                                    xoxo,

P.S. I just wanted to let you know I bought some of the New Mucinex Sinus and Cold medication, and let me just tell you it works wonders, so next time you're sick go buy some. It's really helped the past two days, I'll be sure to let you know whether or not those results continue.
P.P.S. I also wanted you to know I'm posting this at 12:30 am that way I don't forget because I know I have to pay bills and return a few things to the store.
P.P.P.S If any of you have used the Airborne  vitamin supplement packs please let me know below what your experience was with it. I bought some, and last night after taking it I got really dizzy, so I didn't know if anyone else had experienced this or not. But let me know.

Update

Well it's been more than a week since I last wrote, I thought I would be able to write last week, but I couldn't it was too soon.  So this week is the week I will get back to writing.
So I'm still sick, mainly just sinus pressure, and a sore throat. I've finished my antibiotic, and haven't had to take anything else yet. However due to the sinus pressure, I'm still having awful headaches, and dizzy spells.
But I'm sitting up in bed supported by pillows, and I'm ready to write, and to work. I'm definitely posting tomorrow, or maybe Wednesday, I'm only doing three posts this week because I want to ease back into working, and not get carried away, which I tend to do often.
Since I don't really have anything of substance to tell you I thought I would share a song with you, it's my uncle, so I'm kinda biased in my opinion, but he's amazing. And I thought you may want to hear it, he wrote it and it's a live recording that one of his friends posted. So please listen to it, I know he would appreciate it, and share it with your friends.

So that's all for today, I think I'll most likely post on Wednesday, but I may change my mind and post tomorrow instead. Stay Creative my lovelies, I'll post again very soon.
              xoxo,
                  Lori
