Review: Maybelline Color Show Shredded Nail Polish

Today's review will be on the Maybelline Color Show Shredded nail polish in Magenta Mirage 40. I bought this a few months ago at Walmart for $2.98 (I think). Underneath it I used the Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear nail polish in Black Out.

When I boutht this nail polish I bought it as a solid nail color, I didn't notice the label where it said SHREDDED. So you can imagine what a surprise it was when I put this nail polish on and it started to work it's magic.
I couldn't understand what was happening, then I looked at the packaging and noticed where it said shredded. So of course  I had to remove  it and start all over again, which I wasn't happy about because it was 3 o'clock in the morning.

When I finally got the color on over the black I was satisfied with the color, it was exactly what I wanted and I loved it. As you can tell from the above pictures the color is darker than it looks in the bottle.
I originally wanted a lighter pink, but I was surprisingly happy with the darker color I got.

As you can see it has chipped a little, but that's okay because I've had it on for a week, and it's still looks fine. The big chip you see is from when I took a shower.

Would I recommend it?

Yes I loved this nail polish, and the next time I go to the store I'm going to look and see if they have this in a sold color, because I really do think it's a gorgeous color, and I don't have anything like it.

So that's all for today, I'll have my usual post up Friday. Will you be buying this? Have you tried it already? Let me know what you think in the comment section. Stay Creative my Lovelies, I'll post again very soon.

Weight Loss Monday's: Week 29

Last week was not a good week, and this week isn't off to a good start either. I'm bloated, I feel fat, and I have terrible cramps.
But this is what I deserve after a two month break from reality. The good news is my blood work came back and everything was good and my insulin level was half of what it was two months ago, so that's great.
And of course because my insulin level is starting to go back to normal so are my periods, which means I get to be bloated, and stay in bed for a week with cramps. Yay! NOT!!!
I've never really discussed this, but one of the reasons why I have trouble losing weight is because I have PCOS (Poly-Cystic Ovary Syndrome). PCOS is what caused me to develop insulin resistance, and it makes it really hard for women to lose weight.
Even though I don't like being on Metformin, it does keep my insulin level low, and in return helps my body work properly. So I have to suck it up and get over it, until I can lose at least 50-70 pounds I'm gonna have to stay on this medicine.
Because my insulin level was so high in June and July i didn't really have a period, but now that it's lower I'm going through HELL this month. In a way I'm glad because it means I no longer have to be as worried, even though I may hate my period, I'm grateful because I know I'm on the track to getting healthier.

So because I'm bloated I haven't lost any weight, but thankfully I also haven't gained any either.
Last week I didn't do so well with my diet, I ate a lot of chocolate, and I also ate a lot of bread. But I'm hoping to break that habit this week, and get beck to restricting my sugar intake, and bread.
Even though I didn't do so well with my diet last week, I did do well with my exercise routine. I worked more with the squats, and with my hand weights. I'm going to try to get back on the bike this week, and I'm going to try a few new exercises to see if I can find anything new I like.

Weight Lost Last Week:  0 Pounds
Total Weight Loss:  9 Pounds

So that's all for today, I'm not really sure what I'm going to be posting on this week, I'm hoping I'll be able to get a fourth post in, but I don't think I will because I don't have anything prepared. Stay Creative my lovelies, I'll post again very very soon.
                                        XOXO,

Review: L.A. Color Craze Nail Polish

Today I will be reviewing L.A. Colors Color Craze Mail Polish in Pink Bubbles NP505.

I decided to get this nail polish because it's normally not something I would go for cause it's really bright, but I wanted to try something different. The color in the bottle is definitely brighter, but it's similar to what it looks like on the nails. I think if you worked with it, then the color would look brighter, but it's just really hard working with the brush.
In my last L.A. Colors review I mentioned that even though I hated the brush, and really had to work with it, it was still worth the effort for the color. Well with this particular nail color, I have to disagree, it was not worth it at all, and I am so thankful that this nail polish only cost $1.00.

So What Do I Think?
I normally leave my nail polishes on for a week, but I had to take this one off after 4 days because it looked so bad. Because of that, I would not recommend buying this particular color.
If you're the type of person to only leave a nail polish on for a few days then go ahead and get it, but if you're like me and like to leave it on longer then you might wanna pass on this.
So that's all for today, I'll have my usual post up Friday. Will you be buying this? Have you tried it already? Let me know what you think in the comment section. Stay Creative my Lovelies, I'll post again very soon.
