My Favorite Shows to Watch on Netflix

Hello Lovelies!
I was struggling to decide what to write about today when I realize it's been a long time since I last did a Netflix, movie, or TV post. I've mentioned on here before how much i love to binge watch TV shows on Netflix so I figured I would share my favorite shows and tell you how many time I've watched them!
Also, just to torture myself, I'm going to do it in order of my favorite.

1. My number one love in TV land would most definitely be The Vampire Diaries, my mom and I are obsessed, I think we've watched the series maybe 3 times since we first started watching last year.

2. My second love is The 100, I've watched it probably two, maybe three time in the last year.

3.The Walking Dead is currently one of my favorite shows to watch, I started watching it on Netflix in late October and watched every episode by the time the second half of the latest season started back in January!

4. Grey's Anatomy is another love my mom and I share, we've watched grey's for years and I'd say we've watched it all the way through at least five times.

5. I started watching Gilmore girls about two years ago on ABC Family and then I started watching it on Netflix, I've watched every episode at least twice by now, if not more.

6. I think my next binge marathon is going to be round two for Longmire, I've been wanting to re-watch it for some time now and just haven't been able to.

7. My mom and I started Scandal last summer and fell in love, we've been watching the newest season every Thursday on TV, but we aren't loving it as much as past seasons.

8. I love me some Vampires, that's why I love the Vampire Diaries spin-off The Originals! We've watched this one twice and we are loving the current season on TV right now.

9. I love me some Full House, so Fuller House has made me so happy, I love seeing the old cast come together. So far I've only watched it once, but I'm up for round two anytime!

10. I've been watching Gossip Girl for two years now and I still haven't made it through all six seasons! I keep making it to season five and stopping, I get bored and then I want to re-start because I go so long between watching that I forget what has happened. Ugh! It's so frustrating, I want to hurry up and finish it!

So now that you've seen what I love to watch, share with me some of your favorite shows on Netflix, I'm looking for some new recommendations!

Leave your suggestions below!

Lori

Weekly Inspiration

Hello Lovelies!
"Trust because you are wiling to accept the risk, not because it is safe or certain."

I've always played it safe, but this year I've been taking chances. I took a chance on a new guy this year, I'm still not sure if it's going to work out, but I'm willing to risk it. I also cut more than 6 inches off my hair last month, my first big haircut in about eight years! And so much more, I'm learning to find my voice more and more everyday, I'm not that shy little girl I used to be two years ago.

Goal: Keep taking chances, even if your not certain about the end result!

Book Review: Annie Rains - Welcome Home, Cowboy

Hello Lovelies!
Today I will be reviewing 'Welcome Home, Cowboy' by Annie Rains, copy received from Netgalley via Loveswept in exchange for an honest review.

'Welcome Home, Cowboy' is a romance novel, it is 261 pages long and it took me about three hours to read. It is available at Barnes and Noble (NOOKBook) for $3.99

About The Book

Genre: Romance

Length: 261 Pages

Publisher: Loveswept

Release Date: April 26, 2016

Book Synopsis
After a bad breakup leaves Julie Chandler completely devastated, she comes to Seaside seeking a fresh start. A talented, compassionate yoga teacher, she has developed a program to help alleviate the effects of PTSD, but getting a bunch of bullheaded Marines into downward   facing dog might be impossible. So Julie's shocked when one of her first students dives in headfirst -- and almost tempts her to take down her walls with his easy smile and electrifying touch.

Ever since Texas cowboy turned Marine pilot Lawson Phillips lost a crew member in a helicopter accident, he hasn't been able to fly. When a psychologist orders hims to attend, of all things, a yoga class, Lawson's outraged -- until he finds out Julie is the instructor. She's beautiful, graceful, and completely guarded when it comes to his advances, but he's determined to find out what makes her tick. Because underneath Julie's hard shell is a woman Lawson knows he could fall for -- and he's not ready for the ride to end.

What did I think? 5 Stars

Like: The characters.
Dislike: Nothing.

Would I recommend it?
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a sweet romance.  This is the first book I've read by Annie Rains and I really enjoyed it, once I started reading I was hooked and I couldn't wait to finish it.

I really enjoyed the characters and I think that the love story between them was very believable. Sometimes with romance novels I feel like I'm reading the same thing over and over again, but that wasn't the case with this book. I can honestly say I've never read a book with Marines doing yoga!

Overall, I loved the book, I would definitely recommend buying it to anyone who loves a sweet romance, but wants something a little bit different. I would definitely consider reading more books by this author.

Thank you Loveswept via Netgalley for providing me with this book in exchange for an honest review!

Ways to Start Your Day Off Right

Hello Lovelies!
I've had this post in my draft box for years and for some reason just never finished writing it. I'm really trying to clean up my draft box and get some new stuff in there for days where I can't find the motivation to write or just can't get my words to come out the way I want them to.

The inspiration behind this post came from the fact that I have always struggled with mornings. I have a love/hate relationship with mornings. I want to stay in bed and rest, but at the same time I want to get up, get the day started and over with so I can come home and relax.

I've actually been doing good here lately I've been getting up around 8:30 - 9:00am and being ready to start my day by 10am, some days I'm up earlier, it just depends on my work schedule, I've been working a lot of late nights since I changed positions,

So here's a few things that have worked for me, I hope it helps you start the day off right!

Links to Love

Hello Lovelies!
Well it's been one of those weeks where everything has decided to hit the fan! Work has been nuts, obviously working with jewelry everyone waited till the day before and of Valentine's day to actually do their shopping.

On top of the work hustle, my mom has been sick and had to have surgery yesterday. I've been worried sick about her, I'm just glad we were able to get it taken care of before it got worse.

I miss blogging, I really do, but it seems like every time I start to get back into it something happens and then I have to take time off again. It's driving me crazy, I'm not giving up, but I do think it's going to take time for me to figure out where I want to go with things right now.

So, I think that's all for today, thank you so much for sticking around even when I'm off in another world. Here's this week's Links to Love!

Pins I'm Loving

Hello Lovelies!
So I've been gone for a hot minute again! This time I kinda know what happened, a lot of things added up and I just haven't been able to sit down to write!

For starters, I lost motivation, I'm not really sure what I want to write at the moment. What would you like to see more of? Let me know in the comments, give me some ideas of what you want to see more or less of.

I thought I was going to be able to start blogging last week, but then I started having some health issues again and it's really wiping out all of my energy.

But I'm back today and I'm gonna try my best to get at least one post in a week, along with my two series! So here's what I have found on Pinterest that I'm loving!

January Beauty Wishlist

Hello Lovelies!
I've been trying to come up with some new blog post ideas and I know that I really want to add in some more beauty related posts. So I think I want to start doing a monthly beauty wishlist. I want to share with you some of the new products that I'm loving and lusting over!

So here's what I'm loving this month!
I actually tested the moisturizer last month while I was in Sephora and I can't quit thinking about it! It smelled so GOOD and a little goes a long way, I could smell it on the back of my hand for hours! I like this little set because it has a lip balm and my lips are always chapped no matter what. I'm definitely ordering this next payday if I have enough money!

While we were in Ulta my best friend showed me this and I tested it on the back of my hand and fell in love! It's so soft and I really wanna buy some and see how it does with my foundation! If I don't like it I'll give her the rest. I've only tried a face primer once before, but it was a drugstore primer and it failed to impress.

This is one of those palettes where I thought it was pretty online, but when I saw it in store I fell in love. I have a birthday coming up, so one can dream, and I'm dreaming of this palette!

I love a good neutral palette and the colors in this one are so pretty and it looks like it would be easy to travel with.

I really need to invest in more face products, I don't own any highlight or contour products, but I really want to learn. I feel like the colors in this palette would be perfect for me!

I've actually tried a sample of this mask and I love it. I do think the name is a little misleading though, because if you wanted to you could use this as a normal moisturizer. I even wore this under makeup and loved the way it felt. I definitely want to buy the full size because during the winter my combo/oily skin tends to get dry on my upper cheeks.

The only Too Faced product I've used is their mascara, I haven't tried any off their eye-shadows, but this one is really pretty.

I have a sample of this and I'm in love!

What's on your beauty wishlist? Anything you think I would like? What products do you recommend for contouring beginners?
Let me know below!

What did I think? 5 Stars

Like: The chemistry!
Dislike: Nothing!

Would I recommend it?
Most definitely yes! I really loved this book, I had so much fun reading it. Beth Andrews really knows how to create chemistry between two characters, I laughed, cried, and wanted to scream while reading this book and that doesn't happen often.

This books deals with trust, mistakes, and second chances, I think the sub-plot with Gracie and Luke was a perfect addition and words cannot explain how much I loved reading this book!

So far I haven't read any of the other books in this series, but I definitely plan on it when I get some extra money to spend, I want to read more about this dysfunctional family!

Thank you Harlequin via Netgalley for providing me with this book in exchange for an honest review!

2017 Goals + Word of the Year

Hello Lovelies!
Let's be honest 2016 was a terrible year, so many shocks and surprises, so many deaths, especially in the last week. I'm glad it's a new year and hopefully things start looking up and getting better! Today I'm going to share with you my word of the year, goals, and some things I want to do this year!

I did really good with my 2016 goals , and I'm hoping that I can accomplish just as much in 2017! Let's get started!
Word of the Year: Recovery
My main goal for the year is recovery. 2016 was a hard year for me health wise, and I really want to spend this year recovering and taking care of my health. Towards the end of 2016 I had so many injuries and complications from procedures and I'm just now starting to heal.

I finished physical therapy for my lower back in November, I just came out of  a boot for my foot last week, and then Friday I had another injection for my back. Thankfully so far I haven't had any complications from this one. The injection I had in July is what started a downhill spiral for me, it's the reason I had to go to physical therapy and during that time I also fell down a flight of stairs. I've also been dealing with neck pain and dizziness from my fall!

I think that pretty much sums up how crappy the last few months have been and why I'm looking forward to a new year! So here's to recovery and here is the rest of my goals!

Happy New Year + Weekly Inspiration

Hello Lovelies!
I hope you all have a wonderful year and may all your dreams come true! I'm gonna stick with my blogging schedule and do my weekly inspiration today, and I'll share my Goals for 2017 tomorrow!
"Whatever you decide to do, make sure it makes you happy."

Going in to the new year I'm choosing to have a new mindset, I'm trying to focus on the good things and not stress over the bad things. It's actually been really peaceful the past few days, I just hope when I go back to work Wednesday, I don't get stressed.

Goal of the week: I'll talk more about it tomorrow, but my word of the year and my main goal is Recovery!

That's all for today, don't forget to check back tomorrow for my Goals for 2017!
