Weight Loss Monday's: Week 35

I can't believe it's the last day of September, this year is going by too fast. Last week was boring, I don't feel like I accomplished much, but somehow I actually did.
For my diet, I haven't really been eating much, I've only had about 5 pieces of Dove chocolate, and I've been trying to cut out bread.
For my exercise, unfortunately I haven't been able to get my stationary bike out yet, but I'm going to try this week. I did a little bit of strength training this week, along with a few other little exercises.
Did it pay off?  Yes, I lost 1 pound last week.

Weight Lost Last Week:  3 Pounds
Total Weight Loss:  9  Pounds

I was actually really surprised when I seen the scale because it hadn't shown any movement all week, then all of a sudden I had lost a pound.
This week is going to be exciting, I have a lot coming up, and I can't wait to share it with you.
So that is all for today, I shall be posting again tomorrow, Wednesday, and Friday, so be sure to check back for that. Stay Creative, I'll post again very very soon.
                                        XOXO,

How I Saved My Damaged Hair

In today's post I will be talking about how I saved my severely damaged hair after coloring it back in July.
First of all this post is long over due, I got my hair colored in July, and that's when I first used this mixture of products to save my hair.

The products in question is the Aussie Moist 3 Minute Miracle, and the Organix Extra Strength Moroccan Argan Oil.

I started lightening my hair back in February, and I also went in May. During those two trips I didn't really notice much damage, and my hair wasn't dry.
But after I had my hair done in July, it felt like straw, after I got home I started looking online, and I was going to buy a hair treatment, but then I got a brilliant idea.

I decided to mix together my Aussie 3 Minute Miracle, and my Organix Extra Strength Moroccan Argan Oil. I love the smell of both products, and when you put them together, the smell is amazing.
So after mixing the products I got in the shower and used it, I left it on for about 10 minutes.
After I got out of the shower I let my hair air dry, and by the time it was dry my hair looked soft and silky.
I had my hair done in July and then again last Thursday, during that time I only had to use this mixture once, but after getting my hair done I knew I needed to use it again.
So Friday night I mixed it up, and hopped in the shower. Did it work? YES!

Once again it worked, and I'm so happy I was able to save my hair. I've spent so much time and money getting my hair the way it is, I have a panic attack just thinking about having to cut it all off.

So that's all for today, I'll have my usual post up Friday. What do you think of my little experiment? Do you have any hair mixture you would like to share? Let me know what you think in the comments section. Stay Creative my Lovelies, I'll post again very soon.
                                         XOXO,
                                              Lori Ann

Shows I'm Looking Forward To Watching This Fall

It is officially Fall, my favorite season of the year, and I'm so happy. Today's post is a little tease of what's to come starting next week.
I decided to do a little Fall series, I already have the posts written and scheduled, so starting next Tuesday it's officially Fall on my blog.
To get the ball rolling I thought I would start off with the TV shows I'm looking forward to watching the most. Some of them have already started, and some will be starting in a matter of days, which is why I didn't want to put off this post.

1. Revenge
         - I can't wait to see what happenes between Emily and Jack now that he's knows she's really Amanda.
2. Once Upon A Time
        - After that season finale, I can hardly wait to see what happens next.
3. The X-Factor
        - This already started a few weeks ago, but I had to include it.
4. Nashville
        - Again ABC really knows how to make a season finale brilliant, I can't wait.
5. Ravenswood
        - I'm still not to sure if I want to get started on this PLL spin-off, but I'm willing to give it a try.
6. Suburgatory
          -  Does anyone know when it's supposed to premiere?
7. The Middle
          - I'm not a regular viewer, but I like having something I can watch when there's nothing on TV.
8. Once Upon A Time in Wonderland
        - Again I'm not sure if I wanna get started on another TV show, let alone a spin-off, but I think I might give it a try.

I tend to watch too much TV, I've been cutting back, and I've told myself I'm not going to start watching any new shows this fall, but I doubt that's going to happen.
So that's all for today, I'll have a post up tomorrow. Do you plan on watching any of these shows? Do you plan on watching any other shows? Let me know what you think in the comment section. Stay Creative my Lovelies, I'll post again very soon.

Weight Loss Monday's: Week 34

I cannot believe it's the last Monday of September, I just keep thinking how is this possible. The year is almost over, and it feels like its just begun.
The past week has been just a little bit insane, it was full of ups and downs. But I'm hanging in there, and I've actually got a lot done over the past week.
Last week I didn't eat much, just the thought of food makes me sick, and I don't know why. It's so weird, but I've been making sure I eat something, even if it's only a few bites of chicken and potatoes (last night).
While my diet has been going really well, my exercising has not. I told myself that this week I'm going to get back on the bike, and get my butt to work.
         So what's the verdict.....

Weight Lost Last Week:  2 Pounds
Total Weight Loss:  8  Pounds

I was in shock when I stepped on the scale and seen that I had lost 2 pounds. I was so happy to see the numbers going down again after being at a plateau.
Overall I'm just really excited about everything, my weight is dropping, and I'm doing some really amazing things on the blog.
Speaking about the blog, over the weekend I was able to write at least 10 post, and I already have them scheduled, and ready to go. So for the next few weeks, I've got it scheduled so that instead of 3 posts a week, it's going to be 4 posts a week, starting this week.
So that is all for today, I shall be posting again tomorrow, Wednesday, and Friday, so be sure to check back for that. Stay Creative my lovelies, I'll post again very very soon.

Review: Revlon Nail Polish

Today's post is going to be a review of the Revlon Nail Polish in 731 Knockout.  I bought this nail polish a few weeks ago in a double pack, and I think I paid $3.00 for two nail polishes. Normally these nail polishes retail for $3.98, so I was really happy I found this.

As you can tell all it is, is a simple black nail polish, there's nothing special to it. I bought it because I wanted to try more of the Revlon nail polishes.
Normally I use both a base coat and a topcoat when I do my nails, but I didn't use either this time. So as you can see my nails are pretty banged up, but it lasted longer than I was expecting.

This nail polish lasted on my nails for about a 5 days, I think I could have gone longer without removing it, but I had somewhere I needed to go so I had to redo them.

So What Do I Think?
I would definitely recommend this nail polish to anyone, I loved the finish, it wasn't super shiny, but if I added a topcoat it could be.

So that's all for today, I'll have my usual post up Friday. Will you be buying this? Have you tried it already? Let me know what you think in the comment section. Stay Creative my Lovelies, I'll post again very soon.

It's Friday, and normally I would have posted early this morning, but I forgot. So here's today's late post.....

Nihilism- The rejection of all religious and moral principles, often in the belief that life is meaningless.
Belie-  (Of an appearance)  fail to give a true notion or impression of (something) ; disguise or contradict.
Bellicose- Demonstrating aggression and willingness to fight.
Oligarchy- A small group of people having control of a country, organization, or institution.
Oligopoly- A state of limited  competition, in which a market is shared  by a small number  of producers or sellers.

Weight Loss Monday's: Week 32

I am so happy to be able to get back to my normal schedule, I was so mad when I wasn't able to post last week. Our internet was out from last Sunday till Friday morning when they finally sent someone to come fix it.
The week before last was amazing, perfect even, I got back to school, and did good on my first quiz. But more importantly I got back to exercising, I got back on my stationary bike 4 time that week, I was also doing squats, and jumping jacks.
Last week wasn't so good, I couldn't do any schoolwork and my week was completely screwed up. I did however spend the week cleaning, and doing housework. I went through my closet, and dresser, and found clothes that I forgot I had. Saturday I spend 5 hours doing laundry, and I still wasn't tired.
So basically this month has been off to a wonderful start, I'm really excited to see what this week as in store, I'm going to get back to doing my schoolwork and hopefully I don't fail my Algebra classes.
Unfortunately I'm not sure if I've lost or gained any weight because I forgot to weight myself. I'm pretty sure I haven't because it's that time of month, and I haven't exactly been eating healthy.
So that's all for today, check back on Wednesday. Stay Creative my lovelies, I'll post again very very soon.
                                        XOXO,

5 Words: Week 33

This week did not go as planned, there was so much I wanted to do, but I couldn't. The reason my entire week has been screwed up is because I haven't had internet all week.
So that is why I haven't posted this week, and it has been really annoying, but I'm back and hopefully the cable company really did fix the problem.
Now that I've explained that, let's get to this week's 5 Words....

Nomenclature- The devising or choosing of names for things esp. in science or other discipline.
Nonsectarian- Not involving or relating to a specific religious sect or political group.
Soliloquy- An act of speaking  one's thoughts aloud when by oneself or regardless of any hearers, esp, by a character in a play.
Tautology- The saying of the same thing twice in different words, generally considered to be a fault of style.
Enervated- Cause (someone) to feel drained of energy or vitality; weaken.

So that is all for this week, be sure to check back next week. I'm really excited for next week's post, especially Wednesday, so don't miss it.. Stay Creative my lovelies, I'll post again very very soon.
