Release Date: December 1, 2015
Book Synopsis
A killer stalks a wounded warrior and the woman he's vowed to protect.
I found you. The game begins. The note wasn't exactly a threat. But Jess McGregor senses danger. The wounded ex-soldier offers Lacy Devane a place to feel safe after her stint in witness protection. But someone is after her...or is Jess the intended target?
Jess and Lacey are practically strangers. And the powerful attraction stirring between them may feel like a betrayal to Jess's late wife - Lacey's closest friend. But as a big freeze envelops Conard county, the warmth and healing they find in their growing friendship will be put to the ultimate test by a deranged killer.
What did I think?
Like: Everything, duh it's Rachel Lee, I love all her books!
Dislike: Nothing.
Would I recommend it?
I would definitely recommend this book, I loved everything about it and would definitely re-read it.
Everything just flowed together, from the first page to the last, I never got bored.
I think the relationship that formed between Lacey and Jess was very believable, I believe that being friends before going into a relationship can only make it stronger.
The suspense of the story really kept me thinking, not knowing who the hunter was, but reading what he was thinking was kind of creepy. There was one part of his story line that made me uncomfortable, but I can handle it, I know it's just a story.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this book.
